Friendship and professionalism
I consider that a good interaction between a teacher and scholars is developed on a strong basis of good understanding, observance, and confidence. In order to effectively assess students' needs and desires, the teacher has to initially understand her/his students and where they are originating from. The instructor should be the first to create great communication, as not all children and parents will reveal that initiative. She/he should also be willing to inform about her/his personal hopes to the students; with an honest mindset toward her/his students and demonstrating a care for their learning and their lives is essential when doing this. In case both the teacher and trainees realise each other's objectives and points of view, the basement elements of mutual trust are established. The students and teachers seek and are worthy of trust as humans and personalities; tutors likewise look for trust in the work-related sense but need to take care of how they tackle it. As a tutor, I will adopt a position of administration, however I do not desire to be an authoritarian or despot. I will also have the chance to be a friend and confidante to a lot of my students, but I do not desire to step over the line of professionalism.
What makes a good teacher
I think that to stimulate study in the best way possible, the instructor needs to be enthusiastic about the topic being learned, even when her/his students aren't. She/he needs to be the trainer for the students, and mention the advantages about each student's activity in a genuine method, alongside constructive criticism. She/he must be ready to split the difference and listen, yet be decisive in her/his promises and decisions.
A tutor is not simply a teacher but lifetime learner. For that reason, she/he has to also keep to build her or his wealth of professional knowledge, taking additional courses, improving her or his level and going to seminars and forums with colleagues to share ideas and doctrines and discover innovative things in order to offer her/his trainees the most updated information available.
My approach of teaching is based on exactly what I understand and have face at this moment in my career. I make sure that my teaching viewpoint will change as I find out more as a young specialist. That is one of the presents of being human being; we do take wrong steps, or learn something new, and upgrade. I am thrilled about the opportunities that lie ahead.
